Comments |
Restriction digests of the clone give the following sizes (kb): BamHI--4.4, 3.0; SstI--7.2, 0.5; NotI--7.4; BstEII--7.4; EcoRI--5.0, 2.6. Digestion with EcoRI produces fragments of 5.0 and 2.5 kb. Bacteria may grow slowly due to the high plasmid copy number. Encodes a chimera in which the second epidermal growth factor-like domain was replaced with the corresponding sequence from factor X. |
